Thank You & Goodbye
Hey guys! It feels crazy to shut down a project so early, but sometimes old branches have to be cut to make room for better ones. Below is our reasoning why and what I'm doing next! If you don't end up reading it, thank you for your support all the same!
Why Goodbye?
Directum was originally started to solve a problem that to this day is no longer here. Since then, the little growth combined with overwhelming complexity working on something that was never originally mine has made it increasingly harder to justify keeping the site online.
Where to Next?
I have instead decided to do something that has not fully been done before! In an effort to still make something that could be found useful, I and a few others have started work on a project called Discapp.org! This will soon be a place where you can find guides on how to do anything on Discord, have access to every possible tool, and more! It is open source and is planned to have active support for many years into the future!
Next Steps
All user data on the site will be deleted in one week. This means that if you would like to request your personal data, you can before deletion! To request it, open a ticket on our Discord server and our team will help you from there :)
